Tax time isn't so painful for us because we use an accountant. He's very knowledgeable and efficient. But I'd be thrilled to save the cost of his fee if I found a better way! I'm all about a bargain.

@Margie G: It was nervewracking, frankly, but I'm trying to raise my kids to be physically courageous (unlike their mother). They had a great time and the worst anyone suffered after a week of this thing was a snow belly (snow burn on bare skin after belly flopping).

@Stephanie: Hi Stephanie, how are you? The desert animals were all inside, so we didn't see any of them. The polar bear, pelicans, and the penguins were really active. Generally in summer all of the animals are just sleeping... everything that was out was moving around. It was a more enjoyable experience overall in spite of the COLD!

Robin... glad that you are back on the blogging train! My favorite thing about tax season is now that I am married to an accounting geek I think he secretly looks forward to tax season... but I know he would still appreciate turbo tax rather than doing it by hand like he has in previous years!

I feel pain and anguish around tax time. We also live/work in many locales, and now we have to pay taxes in NJ and in the UK, with two different tax due dates, four different authorities to report to, blech. What a nightmare! I am curious about Turbo Tax and what it can do for us as we pay taxes in two countries at once.

Yeah, I'm back! I've been building another site that is more comprehensive-- I felt sort of constricted by the green focus here-- but I actually have a lot of content that falls under the simple, green, happy umbrella. I ALSO have a lot of content that falls under snarky, design, media, and other random things which just wouldn't work here.
